SuperMap iPortal 11i(2024) is a cloud computing-oriented GIS portal software platform. It provides rich GIS resource integration capabilities, fast GIS resource search capabilities, and flexible GIS resource sharing capabilities. In iPortal, you can discover all kinds of wonderful GIS resources, contribute your own resources to the portal to realize resource sharing, and use iPortal's built-in WebApps to edit, process and analyze GIS resources to make maps, scenes, and insights, mapdashboards and other rich application work.

Access iPortal

New users can quickly access the SuperMap iPortal homepage according to the GIS portal address (http://<server>:<port>/iportal) provided by the administrator. iPortal supports various mainstream browsers on the market. For specific supported versions, please refer to: iPortal supported browsers.

Sign-up and login

When accessing iPortal as an anonymous user, you can browse the public resources in the portal and experience the basic functions of each WebApp (the results cannot be saved). However, if you want to experience the functions of iPortal in-depth, such as adding resources, sharing resources, etc., you must log in to iPortal. Your administrator may have created an account for you. At this time, you only need to click the "Login" button in the upper right corner of iPortal and enter your username and password to log in to iPortal.

If your administrator has not assigned an account for you, you may need to register an iPortal account by yourself. Click the "Sign Up" button in the upper right corner of the iPortal interface to register. General registration information includes user name, nickname, password, security question and answer, etc. The password must be 6 to 18 characters long and contain at least any three of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and special characters; security questions are for resetting the password. According to the administrator's portal configuration, you may also be asked to fill in information such as your department and email address. After successful registration, you can log in to iPortal with the registered account.
